Character Information
Jan. 13th, 2018 12:40 pmHer history is taken directly from her Empire character sheet which runs up until she started at the game, though her canon point varies between in/just escaped from slavery, up until when she is more confident with herself as a priest of wisdom.
Mostly I'll AU her into more general fantasy settings/modern day, but there are links here to the wiki for more details of what her canon world is like for anybody who's interested.
Name: Helka Ingesdottir
Nation: Wintermark
Skills: Priest of Wisdom, mage
Hall: Stormspire
Tribe: Kallavesi
Lineage: Naga
Background
Helka's family came from Krysse in Skarsind, but she never knew the place. Her mother was captured and enslaved by the conquering Thule (orcs) whilst pregnant, and Helka was born into slavery, only knowing of the rest of her family through tales told to her by her mother.
Keeping her spirit in slavery was difficult, but Helka collected stories as a form of escape, she would ask other slaves tales from their lives before, and dream of what it would be like to live a free life. She shared the best tales with her fellow slaves, wanting them all to have a taste of the escapism she gained from them.
She longed for a greater purpose outside the bonds of slavery, dreams of a robed man with the face of a skull somehow inspiring and encouraging her to hold on, but despite her desperation, she had no idea how to escape.
Little does she know that her brother Morcar has learned of her existence, and his intent is to free her.
